As Babasaheb Ambedkar had always opined in his philosophy, the real freedom of the country lay in achieving social, economic, cultural and above all political justice for the SC, ST, BC and minority groups. This has been completely ignored by the present governments, be it the Central or states, who have miserably failed to extend any good to Bahujans in any manner, said BSP Central Coordinator Ashok Siddharth. Addressing party’s Telangana cadre at the state office in Hyderabad, he expressed anger at the fact that despite constituting a large proportion of the population, their political representation remained negligible.
On this occasion, he emphasized the need for the party to actively engage in grassroots movements in the new state of Telangana. “Dr. Ambedkar’s vision was to achieve political representation and social respect for the marginalized communities. To realize this, we must remain vigilant and move forward by raising awareness among everyone. This is the true success of Mayawati’s perseverance, unwavering effort, and the farsightedness of the revered Shri Kanshi Ram ji.
Every individual fighting for the Dalits and Bahujans is indeed a BSP party member. Simply being part of the BSP cadre is not enough; having commitment and discipline to drive the party to fight for the cause of Bahujans, both ideologically and practically, must be the ultimate goal of every BSP worker.
The time has come to safeguard the Constitution in Telangana. In this modern state of Telangana that is caught in the crossfire of BJP and Congress politics, political representation for Bahujans is the only way to achieve the ideal development. For this, BSP is all geared up for action-oriented struggles, stated Ashok Siddharth.
The event was attended by retired DGP and BSP AP Coordinator Shri Purnachandra Rao, Shri P. Balayya, and Telangana Party President Sri Manda Prabhakar Rao, and other dignitaries.
