IMS Noida Hosted Workshop on Health and Nutrition

Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida, conducted a highly informative workshop on Health and Nutrition for Journalism students. The keynote speakers of the session were Ruchika Bhanot and Arti Sharma a Nutrition Trainer & Diabetes educator. The workshop aimed towards guiding students about good nutrition and diet for better health.
 

During the session, Ruchika Bhanot explained how a good nutrition plan could lower the risk of developing certain diseases such as diabetes, and osteoporosis. Both the body and the brain benefit from healthy eating. Arti Sharma, Nutrition Trainer & Diabetes Educator, said that, “A person’s general health and well-being depend on having a good diet, engaging in regular exercise, and maintaining a healthy weight.

While addressing the students, Dr. Kulneet Suri, Senior Director of IMS Noida, said, “Healthy diet is crucial to your life, there is no doubt about that. You may be more susceptible to illnesses, infections, or even tiredness if you don’t keep a good diet for your body.” “A balanced diet alone is insufficient; equally necessary are healthy eating habits,” she added.
